| BLACKROCK MASTERS IS A BIG HIT IN LONDON
Record crowds enjoy a week of non-stop top class tennis and entertainment.
The BlackRock Masters tennis week was played out in Londons Royal Albert Hall through the week of 4th to 9th December. As expected Paul Haarhuis added to his title record with another win, with players incouding John McEnroe, Pat Cash, Henri Leconte etc. falling by the wayside. Honourable mention must be made of Jeremy Bates who had a very good run. Mansour Bahrami once again entertained the sell-out crowds with his magic tricks of tennis skill on the court, and then he sat and signed many 100s of copies of his 4 hour DVD. Alan Mills, former Wimbledon Referee, also benefited from the crowds of fans who took away signed copies of his biography. We were somewhat hampered by the late withdrawals of Bjorn Borg and Goran Ivanisevic but take note of the announcement from Tournament Chairman Peter Worth that he has major plans for revitalising the event (now in its 11th year) for 2008.
