RAFAEL NADAL: The Biography by Tom Oldfield

The first major book on the mercurial Mallorcan tennis player; at £15 UK post free

Written by Tom Oldfield, here is the first Nadal biography in English. Published in June 2009 in hardboards with dust-wrapper and 256 pages; Oldfield examines Nadal's early days, his predeliction for clay court tennis and his rapid advance to the top of the world's ranking lists. He is a supreme athlete, stunnginly handsome and charasmatic, a man sorely missed at Wimbledon 2009. The 2008 Wimbledon final seems to have crept to the top of the all-time great list, always a very subjective fact. But just now his fitness is a little doubtful and the tennis world anxiously awaits the next few months. But that he is supreme on all surfaces seems certain.

Copies are offered £15 UK post free or plus £5 worldwide airmail.
