THE ROGER FEDERER STORY: Quest for Perfection

First really thorough biography of great chanmpion; by Rene Stauffer at £15 plus p/p

This book was first published in German in 2006 (as "Das Tennis Genie") and was written by Stauffer, who is a leading Swiss journalust, and thus it was written in cooperation with Federer. Now in English it is therefore the first authoritative accpount of the leading player of the period.

It describes his early days as a temperamental junior player, through his early struggles to establish himself as a player to be feared all the way up to the top level. The book features many colourful anecdotes about Federer, and details his personality, values, goals, training habits, and what drives him to the player he is today.

Published in English in 2007 in hardboards with 252 pages; copies are offered at £15 plus £3 UK postage, or £5 worldwide airmail.
